Installation

Energy Monitoring System installs small but powerful hardware in your electrical panel by a licensed electrician, usually in less than 60 minutes. Once Energy monitoring system is installed and configured, it shares the data with the cloud server wirelessly through the internet. Energy monitoring system uses only standard tested hardware’s, as safe to install in your electrical panel.

Requirments

Power Shut down

We will need quick complete power shutdown for the installation.

Wi-fi connection

To get the most out of Energy Monitoring System, you need a reliable internet connection.

Maintain temperature

Temperature should be maintained in the area of installation. It should not drop below 32°F (0°C) or exceed 154°F (68°C).

Dry installation area

The area of installation should not expose to water or areas with high condensation.

Simple installation steps:

Total Power Shutdown

We will need quick and complete power shutdown for the installation and this will prevent any kind of damages. Electrical panel main breaker should be turn off, this will help to protect during installation. If you have solar power or generator then turn off your inverter. All installation will be carried out by professional certified electrician usually less than 60 minutes.

EMS Kit Installation

We will need a spot for Energy monitoring system kit. The kit is designed to fit within your main panel. Suggest an open spot that works for you. What if there is no room? We will mount the kit just outside the panel. The kit contains meter, iot device and adaptor. Certified electrician will setup the hardware installation in your control panel.

Clamping Current Sensors

There are current sensors for each phase of main power. There should be enough space to clamp the sensors around the service mains. These sensors remain connected to the hardware kit through the power cables. Busbar panels must have enough clearance for the current sensors to clamp around the busbar.

Installing Iot Device

Iot device is installed in Energy Monitoring System kit itself. It powered with the charging adapter and power cable. It needs quick setup and installation to your system and internet. Quick test will be carried out for the connection.
